Tp Link smart Switch log in

hi can someone help me please, i have some basic knowledge of networking and normal can sort stuff out myself but i'm stuck on this one.

I need to login to my tp link switch @ 192.168.0.1 but my router default gateway starts at 192.168.1.1 so what do i need to do to log in so i can change the switch ip address to something like 192.168.1.250 ?

Change the IP address on the device you're trying to connect from to a static 192.168.0.n IP address. Change it back when you're done.

sorry i should point out that i'm on a macbook with no ethernet ports

Doesn't matter. Change the IP address of the wireless adapter on the Mac.

As long as the there's a wired path between your wireless router/access point and the switch you'll be able to connect.
