That might be so, but these guys wont be the people holding GME stock at a couple hundred bucks for the next 10 years

Absolutely, some people will be left holding at a loss for sure, but the big companies are going to hemorage first. Will be interesting to see what happens tomorrow.

Fair play to the WSB crowd, it'll be painful for people. But Melvin is an LLC, the individuals tied to it wont feel it in their personal bank account. It hasn't changed anything structurally about the street. Its a drop in the ocean really

The big companies are making an absolute killing trading this volatility. These little hedge funds that WSB are frothing over aren't big players.

Retail investors will mostly lose.

Was thinking the same. I actually pulled out in the end as it seems the burden will fall on the retail investors ultimately.
