This one isn't - which is why I can't return it to get a different one.

The bad overclocking is an annoyance but I can't return it becuase of that and this one now appears to be running stable(ish), so I can't return it because of that either. Fingers crossed that it will be fine - I think I'll just leave out the overclocking :(

ahh.. you got your mobo RMAed.. not memory... i see :p

hmmmm well see what is said if i get any responses...n ill let you know how this situation pans out...

mobo is between dfi expert...of asus deluxe :p

Don't get annoyed or upset. Be reasonable. Call the retailer and tell them when you bought the board. It's under 1 year old (it has to be doesn't it!) so they should repair or replace it. You don't need the receipt. Be firm, but be reasonable.

I'm pretty sure they'll change it if you ask them.

yep, legally you dont need a receipt. a credit card statement etc would be fine or some other proof you got it from them and when you got it.

receipts obviously just make it easier :)
