What is the best way to connect my GFX card to my monitor which is located approx 3m apart taking into account I plan to add a second Dell u2414h soon.
U2414H Monitor has:
2x HDMI
1x Mini DisplayPort
1x DisplayPort
1x DisplayPort out (MST)
280x GFX has:
2x Mini DisplayPort
1x HDMI (will be used for TV)
1x DVI
Would the best option be to use a 3m Mini DP (GFX) to DisplayPort (Monitor) cable to one monitor and then daisy chain to the second monitor using the DisplayPort out (MST)?
I'm not sure if daisy chaining using MST adds any latency or if cable lengths over 2m are a problem (I know it's fine for a single monitor with 1080p res, but I'm not sure with 2 displays running 1080p).
If any of the above is a problem the next option would be a Mini DP to HDMI cables running to each monitor?
