I find it weird too, as even on an asrock board my 3ghz p4 (email me 5b lol) will do 3.5ghz stable on stock volts. If I had a decent motherboard, some new ram, a good PSU and water cooling it would be an excellent clocker. Just need the £200 for that stuff if I dont sell it! :p

ok had a bit of a "play around" and im now at 3.43ghz (my friend is at 4ghz), any higher and it refuses to start lol, think this could be my limit for this cpu?

im only running at 34c too

When you strap the NB to 1066, it treats the FSB as 266. So if your FSB is still at 200 (for example, I know it's not) if you set the DDR to 667 (4:5) it will only run at 533Mhz because of the way the divider works.

To be honest, I've not seen much difference between running at 533Mhz and 667Mhz.

Ah, thankyou so much :)

Im suprised, just opened the window so its nice and cool in here and im at 3.6ghz at only 30c ! thats on stock cooling too, pretty sweet :)

I take it you're using the uGuru to monitor temps? It lies. Badly. I'm at 14C idle which is less then my room temperature.

Unfortunatly I can't find anything else that will read the temps.
