If anyone is interested in a UK meetup at some point then Gary, the UK host of the VR Roundtable podcast, is trying to drum up some interest for a couple of meetups in the new year. The current plan is to have one up north, and one down south.

There's a Discord set up with info to register your interest: https://discord.gg/2Tw6PdH

It's hard enough to get 4 or 5 of us together in VR!! How tough is it going to be to get people to leave their homes and travel to a VR meetup?? :p:D

Aye, maybe! Saying that, an odd thing happened in the chat channel for of the daily stream that Anthony (one of the other hosts) does. Out of about 50 people watching at the time, it turned out 5 of us were in the UK and within a really short distance of each other (one turned out to literally be in the same town as me). Seems that there is a of cluster of VR fans in Yorkshire!

Depending on interest, it might be a larger scale meetup, or simply a small get together in a pub somewhere.

Talking of the streams/podcasts btw, for anyone who doesn't know there's the VR365 daily stream at 7pm GMT which has just rebranded and started on a new channel, and VR Roundtable which is every Sunday at around 5pm.

Listen to the roundtable every week, heard Gary mention this before. Normally id be adverse, but VR talk is a little different as conversation around VR is extremely limiting to everyone around me save for one guy at work that jumped on a Vive.

Wakefield is a trek, but anywhere if there's a pub or alcohol involved will require an overnight stop anyhow.
