I'm upgrading my pc to play vr and games at 1440p. My 5820k broke earlier this year and im currently running a old 1155 i5 2320 and 8gb of ram with a vega 64... Its cpu bottle necked crazy. I'm keeping the vega 64 as the gpu its more than powerful enough for what i want. I'm spending 1600-1800 all together including my new monitor and oculus rift s.
This is the name of the monitor im getting
LG 32" QHD 144Hz FreeSync2 2K 1ms Gaming Monitor
Requirements:
8 core cpu.
32gbs of ram (i work with audio on this computer as well).
nvme boot ssd (i will put my important applications on here as well).
750-900 pound budget for the cpu+mobo+ramm+ssd i already have the monitor and rift decided on.
no case or anything else needed already have 5 hdds and all that.
whats the best upgrade combo you can make?
