Want to update my pc,

what would be a good upgrade for this graphics card and Processor?

Processor

Video Card
AMD Radeon R9 200 Series

running on this board:

any help would be appreciated. Pc runs fine so dont see a need to totally replace it, but would like to prepare to run a few newer games.

You have a few options for upgrade

You could upgrade cpu and motherboard but you would have to get some memmory as well.

Zen 3 is due for release in October so I would wait till then.

New gpu need a buget for this if you decide.

A larger ssd to put games on , do you have your games installed on your ssd alredy ?

What games do you want to play ?

I ideally staying within a £500 budget would be ideal otherwise i just get into the territory of might as well spec a whole new pc.

game wise cyberpunk is the game that i would ideally like to be specced for, not even top spec just solid.

I think i will buy a new ssd, currently sit most of my games on a 2tb firecuda hdd and just keep the small ssd for windows related stuff.

I'd probably go for a nice high refresh rate IPS monitor and something like an RTX 2060/super/2070.

Also overclock your current CPU a bit.

What power supply do you have? Make, model, wattage

If you grab one of the GPUs mentioned, definitely recommend buying used the market is getting more of these in with 30 series launched (haha kinda) now.

You can get 2070 Supers for £270-300 region used. Which are great cards up to 1440p still, so @ 1080p they’ll run great.

Yeah great PSU so no problem there.

Prob would recommend something like a 2070S used for £270-300 if you look about :)

Depends how much you're looking / happy to spend?

Out of curiosity would a 2080 work? And would it be worth it. Just seem one pop up locally and thought I would get a view on it.
