Hi think i have got my monies worth out of my i5 750. Sensible upgrade options for gaming. Budget is cheap as possible, whilst still being worthwhile doing. I am hoping for approx £350.

Thanks in advance

My basket at Overclockers UK:

Total: £414.47 (includes shipping: £10.50)

You will need £400 for 6c/12t Ryzen2 with X470 and 8GB DDR4 or possibly use a 300 series motherboard to reduce the cost or add more memory. Includes AMD Wraith Spire CPU cooler!

for out-and-out gaming...intel better. for everything else, ryzen probably better.
intel i5 is 6c6t, whereas ryzen is 6c12t - so ryzen would be better with multitasking.
also intel build is a deadend platform. AM4 (ryzen) will have compatibility with newer processors until at least 2020.
