Upgrade suggestions from a Micro ATX board?

Any suggestions on a decent upgrade from my MSI H81M-E33 Micro ATX board that is an LGA 1150 socket? My budget is £100-£150. Also just for a bit more information I currently have a Zalman Z11 Plus case.

What cpu do you have? If it's not a k series then you will gain very little by changing the board. If it's a k series cpu and you want to overclock then a Z97 board is what you need. Sadly choice is limited now and there are only 4 boards in stock at OCUK. One is way too much money and I wouldn't touch the other three. If you hunt around you can find a ASRock Z97 EXTREME4 for around £95 or the very good Asus Z97 Pro Gamer for around £120.

Ah fair enough. I Think i'll upgrade when I eventually have the money for an SLI build as this board doesn't support it and also using the usb 3.0 would be nice haha. Thanks for the reply though
