hi,

i am looking into getting a 805d, i currently have a intel pentium 4 550 running at 3387Mhz (242x14), msi 925x neo motherboard and 2x 512mb 533 ddr2 ram (cas 4) + 2x 256mb 533 ddr2 ram(cas4).

I have read a little about the performance of the 805d and am very interested in getting one due to the value for money and the great speeds it can reach (3.9Ghz i have seen)

I have a akasa evo 120 cpu cooler, would it be best to upgrade this when overclocking the 805? I have also asked for a powersupply recomendation because i have one of them rubbish gold q-tec 400w ones

Would any one be able to put me a list together for me for the following:

Motherboard:
Ram:
Powersupply:
CPU cooler:

many thanks
jamie

motherboard - you would need a 945 chipset upwards or a supporting board
ram - yours is fine (805 runs at 133 x 20)
psu - i would get rid of that
hsf - something decent like arctic freezer 775 (cpu does get very warm)
