upgrading help

    hey guy i got a pc 2 years ago from here well with the advice from here its got in it

    AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 7850+ Black Edition 2.80GHz (Socket AM2+) - OEM
    gt8800 gfx card 4 gb ram
    normal harddrive
    nice asus mobo

    just wondering i got 100 pound to spend to upgrade it so i can play globa lagenda game alot better

    it lags atm any ideas what the best part to upgrade is and with what

    wiht that budget i would suggest selling yer 8800 and maybe buying a 5770 ?

    What's the motherboard model number.

    It might take a AM3 quad core CPU.

    its a ASUS Crosshair "Republic of Gamers" Socket AM2 Motherboard mate i was thinking gfx card but do i need loads to run global agenda i dont really understand much about computer specs tbh

    mate built my last one but hes moved to usa now so kind of stuck

    4890 > 5770 in gaming horsepower right now. If you want bang for buck in GPU then a cheap 4890 is the way

    oh and i dunno much about the specific game, but i really doubt it needs DX11 and thus the 5770
