Username Router ?

Windows 8.1+ Toshiba Laptop.

Hello,

I changed the wifi password (shared key) for my Netgear Nighthawk router.

All the tablets and phones connected when given the new password except my wife's laptop which is asking for a username and password. The password is the easy bit, but I just don't know what exactly it means by a 'Username'. No other device asks for a username.

I have tried putting in the router SSID and my wife's name to no effect. Same problem on 2.4 and 5 GHz.

Help !

Go into "manage networks" and forget the wireless network. Re-connect it again as if it is a new network and you should be good to go.

Presumably you meant delete the profile.
