Very Cool Free Paint Tool For Windows

    Amazing considering its free. Also native x64 enhancements. You must have .net 2.0 framework installed though (they even provide a download with that included!).

    is it me or does that screenshot look a LOT like photoshop, right down to the colour change icon in the left toolbar.

    paint.net is a very good tool, as is GIMP (general image manipulation program -i think!)

    perfect freeware apps for your everyday needs!


    mspaint just doesn't cut it, the compression in paint is rubbish!

    Gotta say it looks more like PSP than Photoshop. I have to question the usefulness of a semi-transparent colour picker though, it seems pretty retarded.

    The program windows are semi-transparent until you use them!

    Tried it a few months back, moved back to PS CS2 in under a week.

    There are reasons people pay £500 for photoshop rather than using freeware rip offs :p
