Our panel broke so we ordered a new Samsung TV. I was using a universal wall mount that hung the TV on the wall similar to a picture.
On our old TV the screw holes on the TV were threaded the whole way, on the new TV it looks they are only threaded at the very bottom of the screw mount holes, so I need longer screws.
Can someone help me with what screw size I need for this, I know how long the screw needs to be (5.92cm) I just don't know the type of screw I need..

What Samsung TV, have you looked online for the manual for that TV, from memory they are the are m2 size (think this is a VESA standard as it's a VESA mount on the back of the TV)

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_metric_screw_thread

Go into B&Q and ask them I need o 5.92cm (that seems like an odd length so maybe you'll have to got 5.5 cm) for hanging a TV, buy 50p bag screw and try/rinse repeat.

For our Q85 55" the size is M8 41-43mm.
Same size for 55" to 75".
You might need to increase that size depending on the thickness of the mount and any washers used.
From memory i think i used the longer M8 bolts and just cut them to size.
