VGA -> SCART - is this possible

I have a laptop with a vga out (vga only, no s-video)

Is it possible, via whatever converters/cables to get this to work with a tv that only has a SCART input?

In short, no. You will most likely need a dedicated video convertor i.e. VGA to Composite, S-video or RGB that will probably cost around £100 or so.

Some people have been able to use a VGA to scart cable and output a custom resolution using power strip to get a signal to their TV but it is a bit of a long shot tbh.
