Wouldnt worry too much about c-view.

There's been lots of talk about it on the virgin forums, basically it looks like they are just monitoring traffic, it wont be logged against your ip so they arent holding information about what you are personally downloading, just keeping a log of what 'illegal' traffic is going through their network.

garywork, that's just to make sure the actual web interface for uTorrent is SSL enabled, it doesn't stop the ISP from being able to look at your (non-SSL) traffic. :) I don't use torrents, well apart from the occasional Linux distro that doesn't offer a decent ftp or http mirror, but if you read the wiki/manual about enabling encryption (and not allowing legacy/non-encrypted connections) you'll be on the right track. Also you may be more secure disabling DHT or whatever it's called.

Personally I just use Usenet over SLL. Much easier. :p
