speedtest to a server other than virgins since virgin use bandwidth priority for speedtests only. this way everyones speedtest looks good but real world performance is less.

SFTP is typically TCP port 22.

I get the same when uploading to google drive via browser & also filezilla pro.

Have you tried using a VPN to see if it makes any difference?

Anyone in Manchester got a horrible issue with upload speeds? I have a business line and it's shocking, rang them up and they said they couldn't see a problem, looks like they're getting another call, took them off direct debit, they're not getting paid until it gets fixed.

Cancelling a DD isn't a wise idea. They can still recover the money from you.

even if the money is not owed to them because services were cancelled? how does direct debit guarantee work?
