I'm currently at work installing Windows XP Pro on VMware workstation. Would it be possible to install Windows 98 on my home pc to play older games that dont properly work with DOSbox. Would the emulation for soundcard such as soundblaster be better on VMware than Dosbox?

I suppose there is only one way to find out but wondered if anyone has done this before.

I might aswell ask this question in here too. We are going to start using VMware Server. How do VMware workstation machines link up to server with VMware server installed? All this is new to me as you can tell. I have started trawling through a 380 page user guide to VMware Server and im on about page 52. I havent actually started using it yet so it difficult remember all the different parts
