VW RNS 315 and Spotify

Hi all

Had a VW RNS 315 installed in my T5.1 yesterday.. connects perfectly to Bluetooth so can use phone hands free etc.

Does anyone know if it's possible to stream Spotify through it, as each time I try the sound comes out of the phone and not the music system... tried YouTube and a few searches and can't find anything

No longer have mine but Spotify worked when I had it. Albeit the Skoda variant.

Do other music apps works?

I only use Spotify.. and in the UK... I have tried numerous ways... but just won't work grrr

Did you out connect via Bluetooth and play Spotify from your phone.. what phone did you have as I am on Samsung S8

Worked on an S7 but fairly sure I also tried successfully on my S8.

Try any other way of streaming music. Do they work? Atleast make sure it's Spotify at fault.

Is it not a Bluetooth setting?

Sometimes I'll connect to my Bose Soundlink and Spotify or any other sound still comes through the phone, if I go into Bluetooth settings the device is shown as "No Media".

I select the device, and in there I can toggle media to be enabled.

you may need a software update , spotify works fine via BT in both the 315s in our house skoda and vw variants
