    Hey,
Looking for a drive with the following functions (hardware not software):
    Play/skip forward/skip backward/stop/eject.

Any ideas? I have 2 here with Play/skip forward/stop/eject but skip backwards would be very handy!

    Thanks,
    Mark

to use the buttons to play CD`s you need the little audio cable that goes from the drive to the sound card or you wont hear anything

I used to have plextor CDRW and CDROM drives that had the play/skip buttons.

They were SCSI and its at leat 5 years since i had them but theywere the PX-40Ti internal 40x SCSI CDROM and the PlexWriter 8/2/20 CSCSI CDRW.

You didnt with the plextors, just plug the headphones in the front of the drive and hey presto.

Would you be willing to part with it for a fair price? Or I could swap you a 52x CD-rw?
