But seriously, try anything by Zero 7. Not traditional dancing music, I grant you, but dancing with a girl to Zero 7 has the amazing effect of zoning the pair of you out of reality - it's quite a surreal experience, much more for you & your intended than for the gawping morons standing around. My mate took my advice for this rather than Take That, and both of them thanked me - really helped cope with the circus attraction feeling, apparently. Anything by Morcheeba should do the same.
