Comfortable win for liverpool today. Stoke have got a lot of in house problems. They were aweful at hartlepool in the FA cup last week, there is no way i can see them getting a result today.

^ Disagree. He's just coming back from injury and Stoke won't hold back with their tackles. Keane should've started though, Kuyt just doesn't have the skill or creativity to break down a team that'll park the bus.

Stoke unlucky to hit the bar. Liverpool unlucky both the referee and linesman missed 3 players standing offside.

Must admit I was amazed at that, missing one player being offside is one thing, but 3?? and they were quite a bit offside too. Maybe the cold air has frozen the linesmans eyes :)

Started the half of pretty well then Lucas started to get involved :o

If the Newcastle game was his best performance then today has been his worst by an absolute mile. He really needs to come off and drop Gerrard back alongside Mascherano.

Utter mess. Kuyt keeps dropping deep and getting in Gerrards way. As he's dropping deep we don't have anyone to get on the end of Riera's crosses and Gerrard has no one to pass to. Yossi and Lucas have been awful after a decent run of form and Mascherano keeps giving away needless free kicks.

The formation and personal being used hasn't worked. Rafa needs to being on Torres and/or Keane to save himself the humiliation of drawing or losing to Stoke after his outburst. He'll no doubt wait until the 80th minute before doing anything
