Just got home from the Spurs vs Portsmouth game. We were a little lucky & rode our luck at times but thought we just did enough in the end to (just about) deserve victory ;) lol...

I wasn't Harry's biggest fan when they put him in charge as always had this mentality of needing a proven winner at the helm, but I have to say he has done a fantastic job since he took charge & hope this will be a final swan song for all us Spurs fans to remember. The league is looking really open this year from Man U & Chelski down (as still think they will be the top 2)...

Poor Jay Spearing. He should never have been given a starting debut in a weak line up and bizarre formation against a decent Sunderland side. Don't know what Rafa was playing at. We desperately need to invest in some bonafide quality in January :(

Liverpool fan punches beach ball on to the pitch, and then the beach ball gets the assist in Sunderlands winning goal :D

Bet he won't be doing that again any time soon !

LOL @ the Fergie gif :D

Not really if you look at when it came on the pitch, they were defending the attack, Reina couldn't exactly leave his goal to move it. Wasnt like it was sat there for 20 minutes or something.

Ah OK. Just saw the youtube vid and was under the impression that someone could have at least kicked it away.

Even so, why did Reina attempt to save it? :p

he chucked it well before kick off...it was actually in reinas goal before kick off..have a look on motd tomorrow..reina must have taken it off the pitch but never let it down so it either blew or rolled from inside his goal

only got themselves to blame

it was put on the pitch by a liverpool fan but not just before the goal..you watch match of the day...its actually inside reinas goal way before the incident..its in the corner of the goal at the back...it was on the pitch before kick of and reina collected it and stashed it at the back of his net

its actually there on the long camera shot up the pitch before they kick off

Rafa was pretty calm about the goal, surprising given that it certainly should have been disallowed. The league is still wide open, even for liverpool, but the desire that liverpool had last season just doesn't seem there.
