I just saw he said 1900x1200. Sorry but you are fooling yourself if you think you are getting 140FPS minimums!!

Depending on your CPU I'd hazard a guess that your minimums are more like 45-55 at best. You wouldn't even get 140FPS minimums with 480 SLI

Good choice on the 470's. I'll be interested to see your temps. There was an a review on a site (which I can't find anymore) showing the retail cards running 10c cooler than the review samples sent out. I'm wondering if that is the case.

140fps minimum on BFBadCompany ! What are you checking that with? Try Fraps as whatever you are using is wrong :(

I wonder of we can get some one with same CPU and speed and see how they perform on the new drivers compared to crossfire 5870 and 5850s it would be interesting to see if they can keep up with 5870 on muture drivers.. since there the same price.

I think we will have to wait for the 256 drivers to get that comparrison.

I run Bad Company 2 with 32xAA on full settings @ 1080p. The image quality is stunning.

    re:

    Fooling myself

    I was running fraps :)

In the game I used to get 80 to 100 fps with my maxcore 260 ;) but that was on medium settings.

Battlefield bad comapany 2 does tend to be far more cpu demanding, maybe having an i7 clocked to 4Ghz helps :)

    Cheers

Sorry dude but I have 2 260s in SLI and an i5 750 @ 4.2GHz....I would say the specs are comparable to yours...and I get around 50 minimums at best... 2048x1152 with 4xAA 16xAF

There is no way you are getting 140 fps minimum all high details with some AA and AF...even if you had 2 480s in SLI

The guy says he gets 140 min in BC2 with all high setting and some AA/AF, I find this very doubtful, but I notice you have a youtube channel, why not video your screen whilst playing BC2 on a populated server with fraps running and put all the doubters to rest.;)

3 58xx GPUs are a bit different than 1 480 though! Also check your minimum FPS and I doubt it's 200FPS let alone 140.
