A few months ago I thought this talk was unfounded but when you see him giving interviews he just doesn't come across well, all a bit wishy-washy and uncertain, if he was the same behind closed doors he just wouldn't be coming across well as management material I'd imagine.

Would have thought he could make a decent coach though, the likes of Collison said he is the most skilled person in training so he commands their respect.

Good manager, his teams play (or try to) football the right way.

Clearly had a good working relationship with the players and would probably of done "alright" had he been left to manage and given some kind of investment.

Being a hammers fan I'm sorry to see Zola go. He hasn't had the best of luck this season, so many injuries, plenty of problems behind the scene, new owners coming in and saying too much etc etc.

Last year he done a very good job and if the club wasn't so in debt he could've built more on it but unfortunately he couldn't. He had to sell our best defender Collins, while Cole was injured a lot and didn't get his form back.

I think the board should have wiped the slate clean and let him be manager next season. Saying that now I would like to see either Bilic or Avram Grant as manager.

As for the two David's - yes they did have a porn background but moved more in to property, which is the bulk of there portfolio these days. One is worth £300 million, while the other £600 million.

He was never their man and writing was on the wall for him a while back. Jury out on how good a manager he is. Motivation of most of the squad has been dire for most of the season (and yes that does tie in with the new owners rather public opinions on the club and its staff)

Yep such a nice bloke and I think he should have been given another season to show what he has given the amount of problems this season.
