hearing rumours of a WHU takeover by the yanks in the works. apparently the more we lose, the more likely that pressure will be put on the board to sell.

suffice to say i'm buying an arsenal scarf for tomorrow.

WHU - west ham, as in the Goulds ? She of the Ann Summers fame? I thought they were quite set on keeping the club are they really selling? Wow. That has passed me by entirely. I knew the fans weren't happy but that's most WHU fans I've ever met generally so I just thought it was a protest at selling Payet and not really replacing them with any stand-out players.

Edit that's Jacqueline Gold. So there is a link via Gold to WHU ownership but not the same person as KB.

no actually, she is miss self promoting, sun column writing, tory peerage despite doing nothing other than running a football club into the ground, liquidating its soul and taking £1m a year for the privilege.

the other two are former porn salesmen, sullivan moved into property and gold sold dildos to posh birds. their original profession was perfect for them.

I misread that and thought it said he sold property and gold dildos to posh birds. That's a niche market that. Footballers wives I guess. Explains how he got linked to the club... then I re-read it and it made more sense. Also makes sense of JG being Ann Summers director.
