Anyone here familiar with the area of Weybridge? theres a possibility of my partner getting a pHD there, and i've never been to the place. All i know is it is near London, and I dont like London!

Any areas to avoid near there? Any areas to specifically look for?

It's quite a nice area, I worked there for a year (could have changed since 2002 though). Fairly pricy, canal, Snow and Rock, IBM. I think that's everything.

Lives in Weybridge, I cannot fault Weybridge at all.

Avoid St Georges Hill area (In theory the most expensive place to live in the UK)

Other than that anywhere in Weybridge is very good for living, also with very low crime but the ONLY downfall is the area is quite expensive for a buying properties.

Plenty of estate agents and rental properties, around 700 pounds a month for a 1 bedroom flat.

Less than 30 minutes away from London Waterloo.

Plenty of nearby nightlife etc, loads of major companies in Weybridge, Sony HQ, Mercedes-Benz HQ being built etc etc
