What a day, my mother phoned me 3.00 saying her car made a bang noise and wont drive (MR2 Auto), so phoned my old man who went down to have a look and diagnosed the box as dead. On the way back in his 3.9 V8 Disco the engine decided it didnt like working anymore and popped! What bad luck huh? Decided id buy it off him to help him with cash for a new car and new gearbox for the MR2 so gave him £400 for an L reg 300 Series Disco with mint chasssis (Waxoiled from new) and mint everything else bar engine. So gonna either try and fit a TDi to it or pick a new engine up and fit gas kit to it. Just gotta find an MR2 auto box now! Anyone else having a bad/good day?
