What Display Resolution Do You Use

    I was thinking to myself What Display Resolution Do You Use On Your Laptop

    I use 17" UltraSharp™ Wide Screen WUXGA (1920x1200) TFT Display with TrueLife

    I use 1920 x 1200 on my 15.4", which can get a bit tiring after a few hours even with the DPI scaling at 125%. I should have gone for 1680 x 1050 in retrospect, it would have been much nicer to use for extended periods.

    If you can get this res at 17" why not on desktop at 22" ?

    Manufacturers trying to push us to 16:9 nowadays. Panel quality can suffer too.

    I've been using a 15.4" ThinkPad at work this week with a 1920x1200 screen. Utterly gorgeous but everything was tiny!
