They had an extreme Ironing comp at a 'Tough Guy' event a few years ago. They banned it the next year as there were a few normal runners who became causalties.

yeah, there was a series dedicated to the sport of extreme ironing on channel 4 a coule of years back. the water rapids was the bit on the advert for it.
