I remember reading somewhere it may have been a thread someone made here that Sony were going to make a PS2 smaller than the slim but I've not seen or read anything about it since. Was it bull crap or is it really going to be made?
Can't imagine they'd bother now. They integrated the power supply into the main unit not that long ago, so perhaps that's what you'd heard about.
It was true, but it seems not what you think it was. They released a PS2 slim with the PSU built in, further reducing the 'overall mass' of the unit.
