It's just easy and free...
Like you can make arrangements to do stuff with mates...
And you can write longer stuff than SMS's...
For example my mate is keeping me up to date with the latest download fest news by leaving me messages on myspace...
Plus it's just a bit of fun and you can talk to people you normally wouldn't...
Oh and they integrate college message boards... Which is nice...

I signed up to myspace a while ago now back in august 2004 iirc and didn't think it would hit off loads but i only use it really to keep in contact with friends if i haven't spoken to them in a while and don't see them around.
