I fell through a glass door when I was about 14, blood and fatty tissue dripping down my arms was a bit gruesome :D

Got some corking scars from it too :D

I was about 5 and at a birthday part, we were playing hide and seek. There was this huge ottaman type thing about 6 foot long which I hid in. Another 5 year old thought it would be funny to lock the box and then ice cream or something was served and I got forgotten about - it was probably only about 30 minutes but it seemed like forever and it was very "coffin" like...

I now have claustrophobia :(

Also many things over the years my dad was ill including a phone call saying he'd had a cardiac arrest and then a few months later finding him at home on the sofa having died alone

Edit: Oh - Mic coming home and saying "Now I don't want you to worry but there was an accident at work..." first thing I did was count the number of fingers he had - turned out he'd been "spat" at by one of the machines (liquid plastic) - if he hadn't had his face mask on he'd likely be dead; his uniform and mask are now used as a warning poster

When my ex girlfriend almost destroyed my manhood, this is kind of hard to explain being a family forum and all.

She was on top and got carried away, I sort of popped out and as she sat back down my poor chap got bent down towards my knees, I screamed out in agony, it was one of the most painful things ever. Was out of action for a week or so, it just wouldn’t work Not a nice experience to say the least.

scariest thing, had to think about this for a while and then remembered this happening when i used to be a van driver about 15 years ago.

was driving a ford transit van on the M62. was in the middle lane overtaking 3 lorries. they were in a line in close convoy in the slow lane. there was nothing ahead in my lane or the fast lane. got past the first lorry, then the second and just as i was alongside the back end of the front lorry, the bonnet catch let go and the bonnet came up on my van.

i must have been doing 70ish at the time.

and now, all of a sudden i have zero forward visibility.
with mounting panic, i kept my foot to the floor, passed the front lorry and got across (in front of the lorry) onto the hard shoulder and slammed hard on the brakes. as the van came down to slow speed the bonnet dropped.

but the scary part was that despite the perfect driving conditions and the fact i had been paying attention and knew the traffic situation ahead, as soon as that bonnet took away my forward view, i couldn't be sure the road was clear ahead. i can remember as i was driving going over and over in my head, is the road clear, is there anyone on the hard shoulder.

it all really happened quite quick and luckily no one was hurt, but for a short moment there, i was scared.

transport manager got a right rollicking when i got back to base, the bonnet catch had been broke for ages, we used to open it with a long handled screwdriver. needless to say it got fixed after that.

:)

Being a bit overly kinky, and managing to put a cut in one of the veins on my knob. No bloke should have to go through watching their ******* spraying a jet of blood accross the room. :(

To top it off the girl I was with had a phobia of blood, and nearly passed out.

That happened to my dad when I was in the back of the car  Doing about 45-50 I think down a hill and the bonnet came up pretty fast and smashed the windscreen (lots of cracks and small bits of glass everywhere but still intact).

That was quite worrying considering the road wasnt very wide, no hard shoulder and there was oncoming traffic

The other scary thing wasn't scary at all when it happened. When playing cricket a couple of years ago, I was batting and took a ball to the head, on my temple just above my right eye. This split my head open slightly, and knocked my silly for a few moments. The ambulance came and I went to hospital to get it checked out. I was fine in the end, and had the cut glued back together again. What scared me afterwards however, was thinking about what would have happened had the ball hit me elsewhere. 1 inch lower and I'd have broken my eye socket. 1 inch lower than that, and I've broken my cheekbone. 2 inches lower than that, and I've probably broken my jaw. I was always a bit more wary when playing cricket after that, though I never let it stop me. I just duck faster now :D

What Cricket team you play for?

Just remembered somehting which scared the life out of me and made me think I was going to die.

Christmas just gone my parents had gone abroad to celebrate new years and me and my sister had a session on the weed and beer. I stood up to go to the toilet and felt fine, did what I needed to do and just as I was about to open the bathroom door I had some kind of fit/seizure. It only lasted 10 seconds but I honestly thought I was going to die, it didn't help that the toilet downstairs isn't that big so I ended up smacking my arm really hard on the door and eventually collapsed to the ground. I think I sat there for about 5 minutes before attempting to get up again.

Haven't touched the stuff again and that's after 7 years of smoking it off and on.

Oh aye, split up a while later, though not because of that incident, and shes currently a good friend and shares a house with me.

As to what I done, well, lets just say, a lot of pressure, liberal use of hotel towels, bandaid and germaline, followed by a trip to the hospital, just to get it checked. It was only a hairline split and once the *ahem* pressure in my knob had went down, the bleeding slowed right down to a point where it could clot and seal itself.

I did use a lot of towels though and lose a fair bit of blood, we left there with 3 drenched towels sitting in the waste paper basket. :D

Couldnt "use" it for a couple of weeks afterward though, it hurt like hell when...umm...hard. Which amused the girlfriend no end, as she used to tease me, then watch me writhe in pain. :(

All over the world...
Probably the scariest thing i have ever seen or had done to me is the day when i picked up a scalpel which was uncovered, put it in my tracksuit bottoms and walked away. Later i went to bed down to pick up something and my forearm grazed my thigh where the scalpel decided to poke itself out and went into my forearm like a hot knife through butter. Ended up with a pretty bad slash as i jerked my arm...funnily enough i didnt even feel it go in till i heard some splattering on the floor...only to find my arm spurting out deep red blood.

Good thing my bro was there, to put a towel to it...was just watching it...seemed like hrs went by till i felt a bit faint and my bro wrapped a towel around my arm and took me down to the A&E where i had a few stitches put in.

Other than me, have to admit seeing my mate get run over by a car and somehow surviving it scared me silly. He was thrown about 10 ft into the air and landed a good 6-7ft away from the car that hit him. Try not to think about it now as it brings up some nasty thoughts. He survived as i said but now is a complete utter vegetable, cant move, talk or do anything:(.

Hmmm, I've been in a car crash but it all happened so quickly I can't really call it scary....apart from when I think about "what could have been".

I guess the most recent thing I can think of would be coming into land at Chicago O'Hare in a blizzard. I remember the captain coming on and telling us that there was heavy snow in Chicago and the airport was pretty much closed. Now, it must be pretty bad to close O'Hare - they're used to dealing with snow. I was expecting to be diverted, but he told us we were going to circle for a while so they could plough a runway for us to land on  We started the final decent and I couldn't see anything out of the window - it was a total white-out. The plane (United 777-200) was getting buffeted from side to side a lot. I noticed the cabin crew were looking a little uneasy....never a good sign. I remember looking out the window and suddenly seeing the ground. Before I could even think "Oh....the ground" the wheels thumped down on the runway and the pilot gave it so much reverse thrust I thought the engines might tear themselves off! There were many gasps and deep breaths around the cabin as we finally slowed, then the pilot comes on again and says (in that calm, dry, flat pilots voice) "ladies & gentlemen.....welcome to Chicago". Yeah, and you're getting the cleaning bill for my underwear, mate  :p

It was very scary but also very impressive. There was about a foot of snow on the ground.

Once when i was coming back from a party or something when i was about 4 we slid down the hill next to our old house in an old Vauxhall Astra in the snow.

A week or two after that i had the sudden urge to lick the end of the power connector for my trainset.

A year or so after, me and my mate Calum were riding down the steep slope ( about 1:3 ) and I picked the toy tractor with the small wheels, turns out at the bottom of the slope where the grass ends and rough tarmac starts there was a slight dip in the tarmac. The wheel got stuck and I forward flipped and split my lip and half my face and then i remember waking up in a blood bath with bits of tarmac, naked, with Calum there watching :o
In the same week i managed to knock the ironing board over with the iron on its highest setting onto my leg which stuck on :o

Then I've been locked into several rooms....
Once when i walked into the spare bedroom, shut the door and went to sleep. Awoke to find that i couldn't open the door :o
Once in some toilets at Ingleborough hall, whilst staying over. I woke in the middle of the night and went to do what i needed to do, i had needlessly locked the door and couldn't undo the lock. The lights were on a timer which only stayed on for 5 mins or something after you opened the door and i had to climb over the door of the cubicle in the dark:(

I got pulled in to a three door corsa at 2am in the morning with two people infront and told very violently the stfu. One guy showed a very large knife and started laughing at me while the other had a hammer.

I secretly pulled my phone out and began to ring 999 but obviously I couldn't talk or I would have blown my cover. Suddenly the driver pulls his hand brake, comes to a halt and goes 'right you ******** little *****, shut up or we will kill you'.

He drives off again. I am looking for ways to escape but being trapped in a three door corsa isn't nice with two beefy guys driving infront. The passenger asks me if I have a phone but I decline.

'Where shall we go?' the driver asks.

'How about the lake?' the passenger replies. 'We have cable ties in the boot'. Now I was pretty damn worried with thoughts of being thrown in a lake.

They pull up next to a water lesuire centre / lake and check for CCTV.

'It's all clear' the passenger says. The driver threatens me more and the passenger gets the cable ties out of the boot while the driver has a hammer ready for a strike incase I try to leave. I thought I had to run now or never but there was no possible way I could defend myself in such a confined space, let alone get over the passenger seat.

'Get out of the ******** car' the passenger says with cable ties in his hand and escorts me out. Now I make a run, but very lost and scared. The car chases after me and blocks my exit.

'HAHA, we're only joking mate, you've been set up'.

I just stood still shaking, still looking for exits. There was an awkward silence. I didn't know what had happened or what to do next. They started laughing and I just burst in the tears. They realised they went over the top and felt really sorry for me.

The whole thing lasted about 40 minutes. :( What a pretty sick joke. :( I hung up the phone without saying anything. Very traumatic for a 16 year old.
