I got pulled in to a three door corsa at 2am in the morning with two people infront and told very violently the stfu. One guy showed a very large knife and started laughing at me while the other had a hammer.

I secretly pulled my phone out and began to ring 999 but obviously I couldn't talk or I would have blown my cover. Suddenly the driver pulls his hand brake, comes to a halt and goes 'right you ******** little *****, shut up or we will kill you'.

He drives off again. I am looking for ways to escape but being trapped in a three door corsa isn't nice with two beefy guys driving infront. The passenger asks me if I have a phone but I decline.

'Where shall we go?' the driver asks.

'How about the lake?' the passenger replies. 'We have cable ties in the boot'. Now I was pretty damn worried with thoughts of being thrown in a lake.

They pull up next to a water lesuire centre / lake and check for CCTV.

'It's all clear' the passenger says. The driver threatens me more and the passenger gets the cable ties out of the boot while the driver has a hammer ready for a strike incase I try to leave. I thought I had to run now or never but there was no possible way I could defend myself in such a confined space, let alone get over the passenger seat.

'Get out of the ******** car' the passenger says with cable ties in his hand and escorts me out. Now I make a run, but very lost and scared. The car chases after me and blocks my exit.

'HAHA, we're only joking mate, you've been set up'.

I just stood still shaking, still looking for exits. There was an awkward silence. I didn't know what had happened or what to do next. They started laughing and I just burst in the tears. They realised they went over the top and felt really sorry for me.

The whole thing lasted about 40 minutes. :( What a pretty sick joke. :( I hung up the phone without saying anything. Very traumatic for a 16 year old.

Seen the documentary about the girl who was taken to the woods by her mates and they filmed it? They made her dig a pit and lie in it etc.

Has to be being knocked off my motorbike, was only doing about 30 MPH and some silly blonde bimbo type in a Porsche Boxster decides to change lane with no indication or looking just as I am passing her, I ended up with concussion and a damaged shoulder and hip, which a year later still give me some grieve.

Being the passenger in a car when the driver lost conciousness at 80 mph on the M1. Pretty much as it happened the car mounted the bank at the side slightly with a bridge coming up.

Luckily i managed to get on to the hard-shoulder, straighten up and stop using the handbrake after putting the car in neutral.

riding down a pretty big hill here in south wales on a bike, see my brother go flying over the handlebars in front of me and having to stop from 35-40 mph to 0 bloody quickly. Ended up pretty much jumping off the bike and miraculously rolled with only damage to myself being 2 broken fingers. Then having to sort him out (face broken in several places, 5 teeth knocked out, was told by consultant that if it wasn't for a helmet he would have died from the impact) and having to phone an ambulance/my dad.

Not something I want to repeat again.

My friend and me had set up some jumps in my garden, so we went and got the horse. Got on, we nt over a jump lost control and was in the bramble bush with Echo's (horse) feet next to my head!

Caught the horse then got back on, went over the same jump turned her for the next one, lost control heading straight for a electricity pole wire thingy, you know the wire thing connected to the ground, turned her and fell flat on my face in the garden straight in front of my dad!
This all happened in the space of 5 minutes. :p
Couldn't walk for 3 days, funny though! :p :D

Tbh was when I was about what 14?

Was at my grandparents house and it was halloween there was a program on the telly called Ghostwatch...

I was quite scared at that - funnily enough I had bought a book earlier that day, on the front cover it had a goat's skull on the front... didn't even dare look at it afterwards lol

Just went to bed and hid under the covers!

When I was about 10/11 I saw my friend get hit over by a car which was going pretty fast, he was lucky that he didn't die, still he had a broken leg and spent a couple of days in hospital.
Also seeing my brother almost passed out on the couch after taking over a dozen tablets was very scary :( I'll never forgive the ****'s who drove him to it.

Was on a quad bike one time years ago, took it for a ride along a hill at the back of a school i hit a divot in the ground and the sterring swung towards the right and sent me flying down the really step hill at full speed. I was tryin to brake but it was one of those jobs where the accelerator is just a switch you push forward and the brake is on the other side so i was squeezing the brake and pushing the accelerator full at the same time and not realising it. Anyway at bottom of said hill = wall and i went smack straight into it at around 30mph at least. Woke up with a trainer missing my left arm was just hanging there (dislocated), quad was just siting beside me on its wheels with the engine still going.

I've had a few moments, but I tend not to think about them which is why I can't seem to remember any off the top of my head.

I remember many odd things scarying me ****less when I was little, as they do.

My dad once dumped me in the middle of no where in front of a cemetary and drove off because I was "mis-behaving", although to this day, all I remember beforehand was playing with my toy cars on a playmat. Ah well, lesson learned. I've brought it up before and told him he was a bit of a **** for doing it. He'd completely forgot about it :p

Another time, when I was about 6, I was learning to swim and my dad took off my armbands. I got in and went to swim. The next thing I remember is falling deeper and deeper underwater which seemed to last for an eternity until my dad dived in and pulled me back up. Cue me balling my eyes out. I was very shaken by it, although I was never in any real danger.

The last real thing I can remember where I was generally afraid was probably when I was back home walking into town and some random chav pulls a knife out of nowhere and pushes it right into my face because he thought it was funny. For a minute I was too scared to think, and when I could I dropped him like a sack of potatoes and legged it. I was about 17 at the time.

When I was 18, I had a boy racer stop in the road and ushered me across. When I was about half way in the road, he wheel spins and drops the clutch and comes straight for me. The next thing I remember is that i've dived out of the road and i'm on my stomach hearing the chavs laugh at me as they drive away. I swear if I ever see them, I won't be held responsible for my actions.

Urm, had my psycho flatmate threaten me and another flatmate with a knife last night. I wasn't afraid but more concerned. I had a glass bottle ready to knock him unconcious incase he tried to stab my flatmate.

scary moment number 1)
having a ghost walk through you when your 11.

scary moment number 2)
your a 15 year old whose come home from a night out at a club with his aunt and uncle on new years eve and on the way home, your uncle, who your helping to stand upright as hes half cut, gropes you... twice... with his wife (your aunt) only 15 feet in front of you.

scary moment number 3)
30 minutes after that, when your in your aunt and uncles house up in the spare room because your staying there the night, you hear someone comming up the stairs, Suprise!!! its your uncle... who not only trys to grope you again but trys to kiss you 4 times and then tells you that he loves you the same way he loves his wife...

scary moment number 4)
after hes left the room, you, a 15 year old boy and at 1a.m., climb out of the window, shimmey down the drain pipe, and start walking, you dont go back to your parents because of an abbusive step father, besides, what the hell are you going to tell them? the guys your god father, your mothers brother in law, your aunts husband and your cousins father.

your friends are all asleep, your in shock as youve realised that all those little things your uncles done to you over the last 3 years were not right, its minus 6oC and your wearing a cotton T-shirt, jeans and trainers that you can distinctly remember sticking to the ground as your walk due to how cold it is, and you just keep walking around till 5:30 where you fall asleep in a doorway of some flats.

when you arrive home early that morning, your mum asks you why your back early, and you just cant tell her.

scary moment number 5)
telling someone whats been going on with your uncle for the last 3 years. the social comes down on your uncle like a ton of bricks, and no one in your own family believes you. to this day, your uncles still down the road, your mother works with him each day, your sister still visits, and you grow up to be 23, depressed, and quite annoyed to say the least.

EDIT: and you couldnt bring yourself to go to your granfathers funeral 2 weeks ago because he is going to be there...

not told for sympathy, my life is what it is. but they are the times when i have genuinly been scared, not of losing my life, but of what its going to be like from that point on.

A couple of years ago i was sat in my bedroom playing Gran Turismo. My younger brother was sat next to me eating sweets, he was around 8 or 9 at the time. I was nearing the end of a race and i felt tapping on my arm, i told him to stop it becuse i knew it wouldn't be anything important, just then i heard the most awful sort of wretch for air. I turned to see my brother nearly passing out, he was blue in the face with his mouth wide open wretching for air. I knew what had happened, got a boil sweet stuck in his throat. I bent him forward (which wasn't easy because he was really panicking) and slapped him really hard on the back, luckily the sweet dislodged and flew out of his mouth.

After it had happened i was really shaken up. I don't like to think what would have happened if i wasn't there when it happened :(

Was really scarey :(

did you win the race?
