Size is irrelevent, it's the resolution that matters. a LCD HDTV (true HD) is 1366x768, that's lower than the one in my sig and I can scale perfectly to higher-than-HD rez. You'll want to use DVI or DVI-HDMI connector. You can use S-Video for normal TV's but it won't look great (a DVD player with Component out will look better and work out cheaper)

But yes the 6150 is capable enough for HD, as long as you use a fast enough CPU. You can always upgrade graphics card later, perhaps as new video formats are released the 6150 might stuggle, so a new card with hardware mpeg-6 acceleration will help.

Perhaps if you use a lot of FFDSHOW filters a better GFX card is needed, but also need a faster CPU. Basic playback 1080P WMV material to LCD panel will use 71% CPU, and upto 65% for Mpeg-IV SD materal scaled to 1050 on 6150 GFX/3700+ stock.
