First PC I actually owned had a K6-2 in it if I recall correctly, some Evesham Rubbish which had a faulty motherboard. Took them like 7 attempts to work that out! lol

from what i remember first cpu i had was in an old packard bell machine. think it was a AMD K5 at 100Mhz
then when that pc was sold we got another AMD based pc this time it was an athlon 1Ghz.

to be honest i've mainly had AMD hardware over the years, had an athlon 64 in my laptop in 2005, only recently had intel with my macbook and relatives laptops are intel based.

currently running a phenom 9650 and a phenom II X4 955

Quite a short history, all of those have been my own PCs the cyrix was xmas 97 I think so I would have just turned 6
