I have been taken in by "authentic" stuff in the past, mainly microsoft software, luckily I only paid 20 quid for it, this stuff was the biz, hologram cd, oem packaging, certificate and everything!

bought xp in pakistan, cost me 30p an was fully packaged with holograms etc

my Dell 21" CRT Monitor, cost me £180, RRP was £500 at the time. Still using it now
