Wheel alignment question

Good people of motors,

I have been told I need a four wheel alignment doing as my tires are wearing unevenly, so I have booked the car in for a few weeks time.

I also want my alloys refurbished at some point (probably in the next few months) am I wasting my time having the alignment done before then?

Doesn't matter which order you do them on, they'll have no impact on each other.

No, having the wheels removed will have no impact on your alignment.

I would get the alignment done first, personally. Then you don't have to worry about some muppet scratching them doing the laser setup.

Is this an issue? The garage I use for alignments have rubber tipped mounts, so the clamp goes round the tyres and the mount sitting on the alloy is rubber.
