Where to get advice?

hey guys

i need to know the best places to get advice on jobs/courses/apprenticeships, preferably one to one over the phone or online

im at uni studying software engineering but decided its not for me, and want to move back home and get into town/transport planning but its so confusing i dont know where to look for advice/help

is anyone here doing town planning? if so has anyone got any advice?
