Have a Corsair 600Q on the way and will be replacing their crap fans.
Read all the reviews and it seems the newish Fractal Venturi and Phanteks PH-F140SP are top contenders for case fans.
Thing is Corsair claim their fan controller is tuned for their AF-140L's. I assume the 3 settings (low, medium, and high) are just 5v, 7v, and 12v settings.
Wondering if anyone has experience undervolting the Fractals or Phanteks and how do they respond. Last thing I want is to get replacement fans and find out they make a ticking or worse noise when on the controller.
