I like the look of this drive: Seagate 4TB Backup Plus USB 3.0

It says that it comes with a special driver to install on the mac so that you can read and write to the drive in OSX then on windows computers the drive will work out the box.

Has anyone used this? Or am I better off looking at another drive on the market?
Thanks allot :)

Partition it Fat32, or Exfat if you're going to use bigger files (>2GB). Or invest in an NTFS port for OSX, or a OSX Journalled port for XP. Chances are it will be fine with no bloatware drivers/software needed. However some older systems have problems with drives larger than 2TB which may be a stumbling block.
