Agreed, which is why it's odd people are making decisions based on the launch titles - they aren't great for either console. If you're planning on buying both eventually, then sure, it doesn't matter, but if someone is choosing their console for this generation on the current line-up then they're crazy

Agreed, and it's the same every generation. People get blinded by a shiny coat of paint even though the game underneath is the same as what we have already been playing for years.

The reality is that if any of the exclusive games with the exception of Forza were coming out on the current gen consoles they would be ignored by the majority.

In addition most of the games appear rushed, even Forza can't manage to include night/day/weather racing. Surely we should be seeing some additional features that weren't possible this gen?

If there's a new one I don't expect it to be much different to be honest, the gap will probably be slightly smaller between the two though

Yeah. I would say make it within the first year, as after that point is when people start buying second consoles anyway
