I really cant make my mind up with which monitor to buy, i do quite a bit of gaming and the odd occasion some 3ds max work.
These are the ones ive narrowed it down to but still cant decide which one is best for my money. I'm really out of my depth when it comes down to monitors, i really don't know what to look for

27" monitors
Iiyama Prolite E2773HDS-GB1 27" Widescreen LED 1MS Monitor - Black

Dell Studio S2740L 27" Widescreen LED Monitor - Black

24" monitors
Benq XL2411T 24" TRUE 120Hz 3D Vision 2.0 Widescreen LED Monitor
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MO-070-BQ

Asus VG248QE 24" Widescreen 144Hz 1ms Gaming LED Monitor

Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

well for me, as size really does matter, i'd go for the biggest and cheapest led

Samsung S27B750HS 27" Widescreen LED Monitor for me

but out of yours, Iiyama Prolite gets my vote, Dell would be second as everyone seems to like there tbh, never had one so can't comment and didn't look at 24" either

but TRUE 120Hz 3D Vision seems to get mentioned a lot, 1ms is great, not sure what gray to gray means either as not all say it.

i only play games, have a 27" but not top end, 1ms or 5 ms it's all the same to me, never had ghosting or anything, fast 7950 card and a i7 and play a bit of everything tbh

Benq XL2411T, I used to own the IIYAMA you've linked and it was great, however I downsized to the Benq XL2411T and would never look back, 1080p looks better on it and 144hz is noticeable for me. Less headaches and what not.

yeah moving toward the Benq XL2411T, wont be using it for 3d just 144hz and only thing putting me off it is the colour quality as it seems it needs a lot of calibrating to get right

Hi guys sorry to go a bit off track i have the Benq XL2420T 24" which by the way i think is a fantastic monitor and should be considered also. Is it possible to have 144hz on my screen or is it just the XL2411T.

It's just the XL2411T that can.

Yeah definitely get the Benq since you say you game a lot....i absolutely love mine.

If you want it for 3D too though you can not use it i believe with an AMD card which means you could go for one of the Samsung 120hz panels which will 100% work and are just as good.

yeah i don't think i could see myself playing 3d, i still find it a bit of a gimmick and i feel it ruins picture quality when i watch movies

so probably just going to buy it for 144hz and hope i can max my 7970 out and still not 100% sure but i will be ordering something today
