Right,

My bank card is itching for a telephoto lens. I have been signed off work this week ill (bad chest infection) and I want something to play with ;). I am looking at the following;

Nikkor 55-200mm AFS DX f/4-5.6 G - £164
Tamron 70-300mm f/4-5.6 AF 572D - £116

I can't decide if I need a 200mm or a 300mm. I will be using it for airshows/racing events and so on.

Please let me know what you think tonight as I want the order to be processed tomorrow morning so they ship it same day so I get it wednesday :).

Cheers,

King.

That Tamron lense is best suited for analogue photography. I am not too sure about it to be honest. After looking into a bit more...

Some test shots. Quality isnt bad for a £99 lense. It will see me through till end August till I supplement it with a Prime 300mm Sigma. Anyway.

Images taken down...
