My macbook has developed a rather odd glitch when i tell it to shut down, either via the top bar shortcut or via pressing the power button to get the menu, it'll just restart. So i'm left with having to press and hold the power button for 5 sec's to shut it off. this seems to have started since i installed snow leopard. any ideas?
    cheers,
    jack

Deleting those 3 files, then restarting for regeneration, worked for me :
    /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.Boot.plist
    /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.PowerManagement.plist
    /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.AutoWake.plist

    found on apple forum
