And one of my old science teachers, just pure legendary, probably the best teacher i've ever met, most of the old class are still in touch with her even though she's move up north.

I've never had a hero, and never will have - I don't place other humans on that kind of pedestal. This is probably my favourite sporting moment, among with many other Englishmen, and if I don't consider Jonny Wilkinson a hero (which I don't, though I admire him) then there is clearly no hope for me in the hero worship stakes.

That's a very enlightened attitude I feel. :)

I remember when Waddle's mullet was all the rage in the 80s.

I was only about 11 or 12 but driving through the town centre at night with my folks was always the same. Shortish hair on top, long hair wih a perm at the back and shiny suits with sleeves rolled up Don Johnson style.
