    Hey all,

Not a PC Genius so bear with me.

    System is as follows:

Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition 3.2 ghz
2x XFX HD4890 XXX Edition running in crossfire
    Asus M4A77TD Pro Mobo
    4 gig Corsair (2x2gb) Ddr3 1333mhz xms Cl9 (9-9-9-24)
    Corsair 650W TX Series PSU

Now I'm pretty crap at researching these things before I buy so I basically just got the first things I saw. Couldn't quite stretch to an I series processor.

Anyway, question is, I think the Mobo has a 16x PCIe slot and a 4x PCIe slot. Is this going to impact performance of the crossfire and would any of you suggest getting another Mobo?

    Appreciate your help.

From what i remeber you really need both pcie slots to be working at a minimum of 8x 8x or you will notice some bottleneck

Ahhhhh, thats where the research would have came in handy. Someody else reccomended the mobo but guess I went for the cheap option rather than the best option. 'Crossfire ready' isn't always the best bet.
