Hello folks, I recently joined overclockers forum and asked a similar question regarding Resident Evil 4.

As it pans out, the game ran on my rig but barely. It doesn't boast enough gfx power to run it at a playable standard imo.

However I would like to know whether my rig will be able to run sims 4.

Do bare in mind its just a work pc, but it runs half life 2 flawlessly on the highest settings. Given that info, I wonder other games might be able to run flawlessly given the above info.

once again, detailed specs of my rig:

Here are the specs of the rig:

If my rig will struggle to play sims 4 at an acceptable level, then fine. I will avoid buying the game. However if you believe I should have a pleasant enough experience playing sims 4 that'd be great. Let me know thanks.

  • CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E4300 or AMD Athlon 64 X2 4000+ (2.0 GHz Dual Core required if using integrated graphics)
  • OS: Windows XP.
  • VIDEO CARD: NVIDIA GeForce 6600 or ATI Radeon X1300 or Intel GMA X4500.
  • FREE DISK SPACE: 10 GB.
  • DEDICATED VIDEO RAM: 128 MB.
Your rig should be able to play it fine judging by the above specs.

Thank you Wise Guy

Thank you very much for your prompt reply.

Great forum this btw, bit ancient design and u/i this website, if overclockers are looking for a good front-end dev who is CRAZY enough to hand code (bespoke) a complete new front end, ill make it responsive too. Make it really nice and modern and sweeet :)

lol
