Hey guys! I'd like to say a big thank you to everyone who posted on a thread yesterday regarding the new PC I was going to order as I've been saving up for it for quite some time. However, I've decided to change the case from the antech p183 to this case by Lian Li. I would like to know if I'll be able to fit in this motherboard into the case without any difficulties.

Also can someone tell me how many harddrives I'll be able to fit in here? as I plan to order two (1 SSD and 1 normal 2TB hd)

    Thanks guys!

Yep if you're spending that much on an i7 motherboard at least get one with SATA 6bp/s

Hey thanks for that. The whole reason I was going to get that asus deluxe motherboard was because I was going to crossfire two 5870's and was told to have a look at it for better air flow due to it only supporting dual crossfire which means the slots would be further apart than three way SLI motherboards etc. However, I've decided to not crossfire the two as a lot of people are saying I won't need to do it, and will barely notice much difference therefore I'll change the motherboard to the one you recommended.

    Thanks mate!

The Gigabyte gets recommended a lot during builds, I run 2 5850 in crossfire on the X58-UD5 and not had any major temps issues.

Sounds good then mate. Thanks a lot for your post.

Guys, can someone let me know if I'll be able to fit this cpu cooler onto the Gigabyte motherboard without any difficulties? (Cooler Master V10 TEC Hybrid CPU Cooler)

Processor will be i7 930 with 6GB corshair dominator ram alongside one 5870 graphics card. Thanks!
